The Opportunity
Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Barnsley to recruit an Operations Administrator.
This is a pivotal role within the business, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of operations across sales administration, purchasing, stock reporting and finance coordination. Acting as a central link between the warehouse, suppliers, sales and management teams, you’ll ensure processes run efficiently and accurately.
This position would suit someone who enjoys a busy, varied role where organisation, attention to detail and proactive problem solving are key.
Key Responsibilities

*Process customer orders and coordinate dispatch documentation
*Raise invoices and manage sales administration via Sage
*Monitor remittances and support credit control activity
*Raise purchase orders and log supplier deliveries and invoices
*Schedule supplier payments and assist with cash flow monitoring
*Support payroll administration by calculating staff hours and coordinating with external accountants
*Input daily production figures and maintain stock records
*Produce weekly stock reports and sales commission reporting
*Maintain customer, supplier and employee records
*Handle incoming enquiries and general office administration
About You

*Previous experience in accounts, finance administration or office administration
*Strong working knowledge of Sage
*Experience supporting credit control, payments or financial administration
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Confident communicator able to liaise across different areas of the business
*Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment
*Manufacturing or wholesale experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
