Teaching Support | Specialist SEN School | High Wycombe
A specialist provision in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire seeks a compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students with additional learning needs.
The school provides a structured and therapeutic environment where students receive personalised support to aid their development, both academically and socially.
The provision works with Special Educational Needs, such as:
*Autism Spectrum Condition
*Moderate learning difficulties
*Communication and interaction challenges
*Social, emotional and mental health needs
*Sensory processing differences
Responsibilities:
*Support students during lessons and learning activities
*Deliver small-group or individual support
*Assist teachers with adapted resources
*Encourage independence and confidence
*Help maintain a positive classroom environment
Ideal Candidate:
*Experience supporting SEN pupils
*Experience working with young people
*Patient, supportive and adaptable approach
*Passion in education or specialist support roles
Full training is provided to new educators - with both part-time and full-time positions are available.
