Salary: £29,752 - £34,331 (DOE + sleep-ins + qualifications)

A bit about the role:
Every day is different. Some days are tough. But every day, you’ll be doing something that really matters.
You’ll:
*Be a calm, steady presence in a child’s life when they need it most
*Supporting children with daily routines-school, meals, homework, activities
*Use a trauma-informed approach to help them feel safe, understood, and valued
*Help young people manage their emotions and behaviours in a positive, respectful way
*Working as part of a close-knit team that’s got each other’s backs and works together to give children the best care possible
*Keeping the home tidy, safe, and a place to be proud of
*Writing reports and logs to help keep things running smoothly and safely
You’ll need:
*Life experience from any background - we’ll provide full training!
*A calm, caring and reliable personality
*Willingness to learn about trauma-informed care (don’t worry, we’ll teach you)
*A full UK driving licence and be over the age of 21
*Willingness to work shifts, including sleep-ins

A few more things:
*We usually work around 11 day shifts (8am-11pm) per month, and 7-10 sleep-ins
*We’ll support you through your Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare if you don’t already have it
