Class 1 Driver

Pertemps are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to work on behalf of a world-leading distribution company based in Basingstoke.
We are seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking drivers who can follow a structured delivery schedule and delivering great customer service at each location.
Overview of the role :
-Temp to perm role
-Two-weekly rota pattern: Sunday–Thursday and Sunday–Friday
-Start times between 5:00pm and 7:00pm
- Overtime after 8 hours and weekend hourly rate of £25.56 an hour
-Deliver stock to retail stores in a timely and safe manner
-Operate tail lifts and pallet trucks when required
-Accurately complete all delivery documentation
-Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects
-Maintain a positive working relationship with team members
-Comply with all driving regulations, including tachograph and working time rules
Requirements for this Class 1 HGV Role:
- Full UK relevant driving licence (No more than 6 points)
- HGV Class 1 Licence with 6 months experience of driving
- CPC card and Digital Tacho Card
