Client Manager

Join a dynamic and client-focused accountancy practice that values collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement. We are seeking an experienced Client Manager to manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, providing not only technical excellence but also meaningful commercial insights.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Act as the primary adviser and main point of contact for your client portfolio.
*Oversee and deliver comprehensive services including accounts, corporation tax, VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping.
*Provide proactive advice on financial performance and tax efficiency, helping clients interpret their numbers to drive business decisions.
*Ensure all compliance requirements and deadlines are consistently met, maintaining high professional standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearing qualification) preferred.
*Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a UK practice, managing or assisting with a client portfolio.
*Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
*Proficiency in cloud platforms like Xero or QuickBooks.
*Excellent communication skills, with a client-focused approach and a knack for building trusted relationships.
