Warehouse Operative / Driver
Location: Gloucester
We are a leading UK wholesaler with 30 branches across the UK and Ireland, and we are continuing to grow. We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative / Driver to join our busy and friendly team in Gloucester.
This is a varied role combining warehouse duties and customer deliveries, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and delivering excellent customer service.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
*Delivering goods to customers using a company vehicle (up to 3.5 tonnes)
*Planning delivery routes and communicating with customers regarding deliveries
*Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy
*Loading and unloading deliveries safely (some heavy lifting required)
*Picking, packing and checking orders accurately
*Receiving and storing stock deliveries
*Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation
*Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
*Following all health and safety procedures and using PPE provided
About You
*Full UK driving licence
*Experience in a warehouse or delivery role
*Good standard of education including Maths and English
*Strong customer service and communication skills
*Reliable, organised and a strong team player
A Forklift Truck Licence would be beneficial, but training can be provided.
The successful candidate will also take part in a rota-based out-of-hours standby service, including Bank Holidays.
