As a key member of the team, you will work across a broad mix of compliance and advisory work, including:
*Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
*Producing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
*Managing Corporation Tax compliance
*Preparing and submitting P11Ds
*Responding to HMRC enquiries across VAT, Corporation Tax, and Self Assessment
*Assisting with Self Assessment tax returns
*Supporting ad-hoc tax advisory projects
*Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing guidance where needed
We’re looking for someone who is technically strong, detail-focused, and comfortable working directly with clients.
You will ideally have:
*A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
*Strong experience using Xero, Sage, and/or QuickBooks
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*The ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take ownership of client work
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Experience supporting, mentoring, or reviewing the work of others
*Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)
