Our client based in Wimborne is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Operative/Driver. This is a varied position combining warehouse operations, stock control and local delivery work. You will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately, dispatched efficiently, and delivered professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
*Picking and packing customer orders
*Preparing goods for dispatch
*Managing goods in and goods out
*Supporting annual stock taking
Logistics & Deliveries
*Carrying out local deliveries within local area
*Completing delivery documentation accurately
Equipment & Maintenance
*Basic maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklift, ladders, roller shutters)
*Supporting fleet maintenance checks
What We Are Looking For
Essential
*Full UK driving licence (required)
*Willingness to learn forklift operation (training provided)
*Comfortable with manual handling
*Good English (reading, writing and speaking)
*Good numeracy skills
*Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*Reliable, organised and proactive
Desirable
*Previous warehouse or logistics experience
*Forklift experience (not essential)
