Bond Williams are supporting an innovative medical device start-up in London in the search for a Supply Chain & Materials Lead. This role will be responsible for ensuring all materials required for pilot manufacturing are available, controlled and fully traceable from receipt through to finished product shipment.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage procurement of materials required for pilot manufacturing
*Coordinate supplier relationships and delivery schedules
*Monitor supplier performance and reliability
*Oversee receipt, inspection and storage of incoming materials
*Maintain accurate inventory and materials records
*Organise warehouse layout and ensure correct material identification and handling
*Prepare and stage materials for manufacturing runs
*Manage finished goods storage and coordinate shipment preparation
*Ensure full material traceability throughout the process
Requirements
*Experience in supply chain, materials management or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment
*Experience working with suppliers, procurement and inventory control
*Strong organisational and planning skills
*Experience in regulated environments such as medical devices, life sciences or pharmaceuticals
