English Teacher (ECT) – Redbridge
Location: Redbridge, East London
Salary: MPS (Outer London) – £36,413 to £38,318 per annum
Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Redbridge is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) of English to join their successful English department. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher looking to begin their teaching career in a supportive and well-structured environment.
The successful candidate will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to develop strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills.
ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply, and the school offers a comprehensive ECT induction programme, including mentoring, structured training, and ongoing professional development.
The role includes:
*Planning and delivering engaging English lessons
*Supporting students to develop reading, writing, and analytical skills
