Accounts Assistant – Manufacturing Sector
Location: Outskirts of Kendal
Salary:£32k
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and reputable manufacturing business located on the outskirts of Kendal. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a stable organisation with a supportive finance team and a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
*Preparing and making supplier payments
*Handling supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
*Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
*Assisting with reconciliations where required
*Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
*Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or Purchase Ledger role
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams
*The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
