SEN Learning Support Assistant -Slough
Location: Slough
Start Date: Immediate start
Contract: Full-time, Long-term (term time only)
Salary: £95.26 -106.00 per day (depending on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a 3-form entry vibrant and inclusive school in Brentford. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people, supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD.
The Role:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN.
*Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions.
*Assist with the implementation of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
*Promote independence, confidence, and emotional well-being in pupils.
*Support with behaviour management and encourage positive engagement in learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*Have previous experience working with SEN students (school, childcare, or youth work experience considered).
*Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable to different learning needs.
*Have strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
*Hold a valid Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one).
*Be committed to supporting the academic and personal development of all pupils.
