Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Civil & Structural Engineer to join their growing team!
Duties:
*Technical leadership
*Team and project management - Key member of the structural design teams through all the project stages
*Undertake structural design for projects including power, energy, rail and renewables
*Comply with design standards and undertake and manage the drawings, specifications, and design deliveralbes
*Client and business engagement - Act as structural engineering contact and build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors
Requirements:
*BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
*Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a design consultancy.
*Proficiency in design software and a high level of computer literacy.
*Knowledge of UK design codes, standards and industry specifications.
*Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
*Experience in health and safety management, including CDM Risk Registers.
*Ability to mentor junior engineers and technicians.
*Exceptional communication skills, with the capability to present ideas confidently.
*Membership of a relevant professional body (ICE or IStructE) or near chartered status.
*A current clean UK driving license is advantageous.
