We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established secondary school in Buckinghamshire, rated "Good" by Ofsted. They are now seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position.
About the Role The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on experience and subject specialism. You will play an important role in developing students’ scientific understanding, curiosity, and critical thinking skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is enthusiastic about Science and keen to contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking department.
Key Responsibilities * Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where appropriate).
* Inspire and motivate students, supporting both their academic progress and personal development.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning and improvement.
* Support and participate in extracurricular activities, such as STEM clubs, science fairs, or enrichment programmes.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, engaging, and effective learning environment.
What We Are Looking For * A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent).
* Right to work in the UK.
* Experience teaching Science at GCSE level (A-Level experience is desirable but not essential).
* A genuine passion for Science and the ability to engage and inspire students.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* A positive, proactive approach to teaching and student development.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team.
