Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments, including hybrid working expectations, in line with our Flexibility Works policy.What you’ll be doingAs a Senior Technical Application Specialist focusing on Agentic AI, you’ll play a key role in shaping how advanced AI capabilities are designed, built and adopted across the Group. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, architecture and product to turn emerging AI patterns into secure, scalable and reliable solutions that deliver real value.
Day to day, you’ll:

*Design, build and supportagentic AI applications that orchestrate workflows, decision-making and automation across complex systems

*Act as atechnical authority for AI-enabled applications, advising teams on architecture, integration and best practice

*Partner with engineers, data scientists, architects and product teams to translate business problems intopractical AI solutions

*Ensure AI applications are built withsecurity, resilience, ethics and responsible AI principles at their core
*Support the full application lifecycle, from proof of concept through to production deployment and ongoing optimisation
*Share knowledge and coach others, helping to grow AI capability and confidence across the wider engineering community

What we’re looking forEssential skills*Strong experience designing and supportingcomplex, production-grade applications in modern technology environments

*Hands-on experience withAI-enabled or intelligent systems , such as agent-based workflows, orchestration layers or advanced automation

*Solid understanding ofapplication architecture , integration patterns and APIs

*Experience working withcloud platforms and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, observability, reliability)
*Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
And any experience of these would be great*Experience working withlarge language models (LLMs) , AI platforms or orchestration frameworks

*Knowledge ofresponsible AI , model governance or risk controls
*Background in regulated or large-scale enterprise environments
*Experience mentoring or leading others on technical approaches
