Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and detail-focused Office Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of our office. This is a key role within the business, ensuring the workplace remains organised, efficient, and professional. The successful candidate will be proactive, highly organised, and comfortable managing a variety of administrative tasks while supporting both staff and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily office administration and operational procedures
Act as the first point of contact by answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate team members
Welcome visitors to the office and provide refreshments when required
Manage meeting room bookings and schedules
Monitor office supplies and arrange stationery orders as needed
Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and building management, including ordering printer paper and ink and managing confidential waste and recycling
Provide support with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and data entry, and assist the data processing team
Manage the central inbox, forwarding emails to relevant individuals
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional office environment, including daily waste removal, dishwasher duties, and ensuring the kitchen area remains tidy
Provide general administrative support to management and staff as required
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in an Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role
Proven receptionist experience as the first point of contact for phone calls
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented
Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience
Experience using office management systems or basic accounting software
