Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a thriving secondary academy in Oldham on a long-term supply basis from 13 April 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with motivated students in Years 7-10, in a growing, inclusive school environment. The academy is part of a well-regarded Church of England trust and provides excellent educational opportunities to a culturally diverse pupil community.
The Role
* Full-time Art Teacher - long-term supply from 13/4/26
* Teach Art at Key Stage 3 and KS4 preparation (Years 10 only, first GCSE cohort next year)
* Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that develop students’ visual and design skills
* Confident behaviour management and use of effective assessment strategies
* Contribute to curriculum development, enrichment activities, and creative displays
* Applicants must have experience teaching Art in UK secondary schools and a passion for fostering creativity

Requirements
* UK QTS or QTLS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
* Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 in a UK secondary school
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check and provide professional references
* CV detailing full employment and education history, including any gaps
