About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Finance Credit Analyst to join our client’s Structured & Project Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of complex project finance transactions across infrastructure, energy, renewables, and other asset-backed sectors. You will work closely with origination, risk, and portfolio management teams to support the structuring and execution of transactions while ensuring robust credit analysis and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
*Conduct in-depth credit analysis of project finance transactions, including financial modelling, cash flow forecasting, and scenario analysis.
*Assess key project risks including construction, operational, market, regulatory, and counterparty risks.
*Review project documentation such as concession agreements, EPC contracts, O&M agreements, and offtake contracts.
*Prepare detailed credit papers and risk assessments for internal credit committees.
*Develop and review financial models to evaluate project viability and debt service capacity (e.g., DSCR, LLCR, PLCR).
*Monitor existing project finance exposures and identify emerging risks.
*Liaise with internal stakeholders including origination teams, legal, risk management, and senior credit officers.
*Support transaction execution including due diligence, term sheet reviews, and covenant analysis.
