To be considered for the role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who has knowledge of supporting loans from a variety of backgrounds that includes working for a collateral administrator, loan closing middle office team, agency business giving exposure to documentation, or even another varied credit operations function of a buyside institution. Your knowledge will hopefully include experience of closing distressed and par loan settlements including trade claims is essential. Comprehension and familiarity of credit agreements, ClearPar and LMA/LSTA par/distressed loan documentation is needed, as is an understanding of the mechanics of a syndicated corporate loan. Credit and Fixed Income Bonds product knowledge (with Secondary market loans) and a background in alternatives or fund administration is distinctly advantageous, and so is a wider Operations knowledge of KYC processes, FX hedging, funding and reconciliations. You must want be able and willing to juggle multiple responsibilities in a very varied opportunity, especially when required to navigate and resolve time sensitive settlement issues.
This very varied role will see you support all Operations activities of the business, including:
*Oversee the closing, legal document review and settlement of European loan and bond trades.
*Monitor loan settlements across a variety and number of investment holding vehicles.
*Manage cashflow for trade settlements and obtain necessary approvals for settlement.
*Ensure accurate booking of trades and activity through the investment holding period into the accounting system.
*Perform cash, month end position and accrual reconciliations and investigate breaks.
*Ensure all loan amendments and corporate actions are tracked and voting administration is processed.
*Support the compliance function in processing counterparty and borrower KYC requests.
*Assistance with the FX hedging process.
