Tradewind Recruitment is working with welcoming secondary schools in Brent seeking a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity to support students in science lessons while developing valuable classroom experience.
Role OverviewAs a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging science lessons while helping students stay focused and confident in their learning.
Key responsibilities:
*Supporting students in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons

*Assisting the teacher with classroom activities and practical experiments

*Providing one-to-one or small group support to students who need extra help

*Helping prepare learning materials and lab equipment

*Encouraging student engagement and participation in lessons

*Supporting behaviour management within the classroom

*Following safeguarding procedures at all times

Requirements*A degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related)

*Interest in pursuing a career in education or teaching

*Strong communication and organisational skills

*A proactive and supportive approach to working with students

*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
