About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Energy Professional to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the energy sector and eager to play a key role in delivering impactful energy projects and driving innovation.
As a Senior Energy Analyst / Engineer, you will use your industry experience and technical expertise to support and lead initiatives across energy infrastructure, renewable technologies, energy efficiency, and sustainability. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to strategic decision-making, and help deliver solutions that support the transition to a more sustainable and resilient energy future.
Key Responsibilities*Lead and support the delivery of energy projects across areas such as renewable energy, energy infrastructure, and energy optimisation.
*Analyse energy data, market trends, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decisions and project development.
*Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, and financial evaluations for energy initiatives.
*Prepare high-quality reports, technical documentation, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
*Provide expert guidance on energy technologies, systems, and operational performance.
*Collaborate with engineering, commercial, and operational teams to develop and implement energy solutions.
*Support organisational sustainability strategies and decarbonisation initiatives.
*Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
*Participate in site visits, stakeholder meetings, and technical reviews to ensure successful project delivery.
Essential Experience*Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience within the energy sector.
*Proven experience working on energy-related projects within industries such as:
*Renewable energy (solar, wind, storage, etc.)
*Utilities or power generation
*Energy consulting or advisory services
*Energy management and optimisation
*Energy markets, policy, or regulatory environments
Candidates should demonstrate strong technical knowledge, practical industry experience, and the ability to contribute to complex energy projects.
Skills and Competencies*Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
*Solid understanding of energy systems, technologies, and market dynamics.
*Experience working with energy data analysis and modelling tools.
*Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with analytical tools such as Python, MATLAB, or similar is advantageous.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Ability to work independently while leading and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
