Job Description:
Location: Long Eaton (Hybrid Working) | Salary: £31,000 - £35,00 DOE
Astute Recruitment is exclusively recruiting on behalf of our client for a Part-Qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team in Long Eaton. This is a permanent, hybrid role, offering a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional looking to develop their career and gain exposure to management accounting across a dynamic organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support the Finance team with month-end and year-end reporting
*Prepare and reconcile journals, accruals, and prepayments
*Assist in the preparation of management accounts, forecasts, and budgets
*Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary on financial movements
*Maintain and improve Excel-based reporting and financial models
*Support internal and external audits as required
*Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insight and support
About You:
*Part-qualified in CIMA, ACA, or ACCA (PQ)
*Solid experience in month-end and financial reporting duties
*Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
*Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
*Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment
