ESOL Tutor
Hourly Rate: £25 - £30
Location: Flexible (Online Classes)
Job Type: Temporary (Possibly for the entire term)
We are currently seeking one or possibly two ESOL Tutors to cover for staff who are off sick and likely to remain so for the next term. This role involves delivering adult ESOL classes, including 8 hours a week of online classes, primarily from Monday to Wednesday, starting from 14 April.
Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver engaging and effective online ESOL classes to adult learners.
Prepare lesson plans and educational materials tailored to the needs of adult learners.
Monitor and assess the progress of students, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
Maintain a positive and interactive online learning environment.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
CELTA-trained (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
Proven experience in teaching ESOL to adults.
Strong command of English language teaching methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage online teaching platforms and tools effectively.
