Job Description:
Location: Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire
Contract: Flexible Supply (with potential for permanent roles)
Pay: £14 to £18 per hour
We are looking for experienced Learning Support / Student Support Worker to support students in Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) and Alternative Education Provisions. This role involves providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils who require additional guidance to engage with learning.
Key Responsibilities
*Support students with EHCPs and SEMH needs
*Help pupils stay engaged and manage behaviour within lessons
*Provide mentoring, encouragement and positive role modelling
*Work alongside teaching staff to maintain a structured learning environment
*Follow safeguarding and behaviour support strategies

*Experience working with young people in PRUs, alternative provision, SEN or youth work
*Confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour or emotional needs
*Calm, resilient and able to build positive relationships
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
