The Role
As an Engineering Geologist, you will be involved in both site and office-based work, supporting the delivery of ground investigation projects from planning through to reporting.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Supervising and carrying out ground investigations
*Logging soil and rock samples to industry standards
*Coordinating with drilling contractors on site
*Collecting soil and groundwater samples for laboratory testing
*Preparing factual and interpretative reports
*Assisting with geotechnical analysis and assessments
*Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures
Requirements
*Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
*Around 1-3 years of relevant industry experience
*Experience supervising ground investigation works
*Strong report writing skills
*Full UK driving licence
