Salary: £29,000 - £33,000
Top of the salary range will be offered to a candidate with experience from a fast-paced a high-volume environment, ideally in the Manufacturing industry.
We are exclusively recruiting for a really exciting Assistant Management Accountant position for a valued Reed client, based in Telford. This is a brand-new role to the team and is available due to an amazing level of growth within the business! As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will directly support one of the company’s largest clients and work closely with the Management Accountant, receiving one-on-one training and a clear progression path! This role requires a candidate with experience in complex reconciliation and investigating variances.
Responsibilities Will Include:
*Assisting the Management Accountant with day-to-day running of finance processes and supporting at Month End.
*Be responsible for completing complex reconciliations and variance analysis!
*Be hands on with supporting the Accounts Payable team, supporting with high volume work, running payment runs and importing into the bank.
*Use your Excel skills to manage and manipulate large datasets, supporting with reporting and Month End activities.
Ideally, You Will:
*Have experience from a high volume and fast-paced environment.
*Must be a keen user of Microsoft Excel with at least the use of lookups, pivot tables and SUMIFs.
*Be a confident character that is comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business.
*Have strong experience in complex reconciliations with the ability to identify discrepancies and the initiative to investigate!
