A respected environmental and ground engineering consultancy is seeking a Graduate Geoenvironmental Engineer to join its growing Birmingham-based team. This opportunity is well suited to a recent graduate looking to begin their career within the contaminated land and ground investigation sector while gaining practical field and reporting experience across a variety of development projects.

This position provides an excellent entry point for a graduate looking to develop hands-on experience in the geoenvironmental sector while working within a collaborative consultancy environment.
Typical Duties of this Graduate Geoenvironmental Engineer role:*Assisting with ground investigation activities such as borehole and trial pit logging
*Collecting soil, groundwater and gas samples during fieldwork
*Recording and organising data obtained during site investigations
*Assisting with the preparation of technical documentation and interpretative reports
*Working with senior engineers to help deliver geoenvironmental and geotechnical assessments
To be considered for this Graduate Geoenvironmental Engineer role, applicants should have:
*A degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, or a similar subject
*A full UK driving licence
*The right to work in the UK
*Willingness to travel to project sites when required
*Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of Birmingham
