Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer
Leeds
£38,000 - £45,000 + benefits
An expanding, employee-owned engineering and environmental consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to strengthen its Leeds-based team. This role offers the chance to play a key part in delivering complex land quality and ground investigation projects across the UK while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the continued growth of the geoenvironmental division.

Key Responsibilities*The Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer will be leading the planning and execution of ground investigation and land quality assessments
*Managing site works, including supervising drilling contractors and overseeing health and safety compliance
*Preparing and reviewing Phase 1 Desk Studies and Phase 2 Ground Investigation reports
*Producing interpretative reports, risk assessments and remediation strategies
*Designing and implementing groundwater and ground gas monitoring programmes
*Liaising with clients, regulators and project stakeholders throughout project delivery
*Assisting with project management, cost control and programme coordination
Candidate RequirementsApplicants for this Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer position should demonstrate:
*A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
*Relevant industry experience within contaminated land or ground investigation consultancy
*Strong technical report writing and data interpretation skills
*A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites when required
*Eligibility to work in the UK without restriction
*Ideally based in or able to commute to the Leeds area
