Monday – Friday | Office Based | Lymington
Are you highly organised with a great eye for detail? Do you enjoy working with products, documentation, and coordinating processes?
Dovetail Recruitment are working with a growing business in Lymington who are looking for a Product Administrator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your experience within the product and FMCG sector, working closely with the Quality Product Manager and gaining exposure to product quality, sampling, and supplier coordination.
You will help ensure products are delivered to the required quality standards across multiple sectors, including health and beauty, while supporting the smooth running of product administration processes.
The RoleIn this role, you will support the product and quality teams with a variety of administrative and coordination tasks, including:
*Maintaining and updating product specifications and production documentation
*Ensuring product information is clearly communicated to suppliers and manufacturers
*Assisting with FMCG compliance and labelling requirements
*Coordinating the product sampling process, including tracking timelines and following up with suppliers
*Checking samples against specifications and highlighting any discrepancies
*Supporting the coordination of third-party quality inspections
*Preparing inspection documentation and helping compile quality reports
*Communicating with suppliers and factories via email and video calls
*Tracking orders through key stages including sampling, production, inspection, and shipping
What We’re Looking For*Experience in an administrative role, ideally within product, supply chain, quality, or sales support
*Strong attention to detail
*Excellent organisation and time management skills
*Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal teams
*Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
*A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
