A long-established and highly reputable accountancy practice in Chelmsford is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing bookkeeping department. The Role:
You will play a key part in delivering high-quality bookkeeping services across a varied client portfolio.
Duties include:
*Monthly and quarterly bookkeeping
*Preparation of VAT returns
*Producing management accounts
*Onboarding and supporting clients with Making Tax Digital for Income Tax
*Providing initial software training and ongoing client support
*Working extensively with Xero (experience preferred)
Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach are essential. The firm is forward-thinking and regularly adopts new technology, so an openness to learning new software is important.
Flexible Working & Hybrid Approach
*Hybrid 3 days in office
*Flexible start times between 8:00am and 9:30am (7.25 hours per day)
