FLT Reach Truck Driver - Bury
Location: Bury
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our team in Bury. This is a hands-on, physically active position that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is essential. Experience working with chemicals would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
*Safely and efficiently operate a Counterbalance FLT
*Handle chemicals in line with site safety standards
*Load and unload vehicles and shipping containers
*Organise, store, and maintain yard stock and materials
*Keep the yard clean, safe, and well-organised at all times
*Carry out general yard duties including manual handling
*Assist with incoming and outgoing deliveries
*Perform basic daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
*Follow all health & safety procedures and site protocols
*Communicate with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth workflow
*Report hazards, faults, or issues promptly
Requirements
*Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (essential)
*Experience in a yard or warehouse environment (preferred)
*Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
*Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
*Strong health & safety awareness
*Good communication and teamwork skills
*Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
