An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a highly respected specialist tax boutique as a Part-Time Tax Compliance Assistant. This role is ideal for someone with experience in personal tax, corporate tax, or both, who is looking for flexibility while continuing to develop their expertise in a high-quality advisory environment.
This firm is a well-established independent tax consultancy known for delivering specialist advice to a broad client base including entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and growing companies. The team operates in a collaborative and technically strong environment where compliance work is valued as a key part of delivering exceptional client service.
The Role:
You will support the tax team with a range of compliance work across personal and/or corporate tax. The role can be tailored depending on your experience, with responsibilities potentially including:
*Preparation of personal tax returns for individuals and directors
*Preparation of corporation tax returns and computations
*Supporting senior tax advisers with compliance processes
*Liaising with clients to gather information and resolve queries
*Assisting with HMRC correspondence and administrative compliance matters
*Ensuring deadlines are met and compliance work is delivered to a high standard
About You:
The firm is open to candidates with experience in either personal tax or corporate tax, although exposure to both would be advantageous.
Experience:
*Experience preparing personal tax returns or corporation tax returns
*A background in accountancy practice, tax boutique, or professional services
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Good communication skills when dealing with clients and colleagues
*A desire to work in a specialist tax-focused environment
