Bookkeeper
Location: Little Eaton
Salary: Up to £30,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a growing business based in Little Eaton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a solid background in transactional finance to play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day finance function.
Key Responsibilities*Maintaining accurate financial records and company ledgers

*Processing purchase and sales invoices

*Completing bank reconciliations

*Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

*Preparing and submitting VAT returns

*Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting

*Processing expenses and assisting with payroll where required

*Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve queries

*Assisting the Finance Manager or Accountant with additional finance duties

Requirements*Previous experience in a Bookkeeper or Accounts role

*Strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial processes

*Experience using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or similar

*Good Excel skills and strong attention to detail

*Excellent organisational and communication skills

*Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines

Desirable*AAT qualified or currently studying (or equivalent experience)

*Experience working within a fast-paced finance environment
