We are supporting a large and well-respected higher education institution in Manchester in recruiting a proactive Grounds Maintenance Operative. Your new role
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will:
*Carry out routine ground maintenance including mowing, strimming, edging, hedge cutting, weeding, pruning, and planting.
*Undertake soft landscaping tasks such as turfing, mulching, and seasonal planting schemes.
*Maintain pathways, courtyards, outdoor sports areas, and communal green spaces to a high standard.
*Support with leaf collection, litter picking, and waste management.
*Safely operate and maintain ground machinery and tools (e.g., ride-on mowers, strimmers, blowers).
What you’ll need to succeed
Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture, or similar outdoor maintenance work.Ability to safely operate ground maintenance machinery and equipment.
Horticulture or grounds maintenance qualification
