Installation Technician (High Voltage)
£50,000 - £55,000 + Training + Progression + Benefits + Company Car + Fuel Card + Increased Holiday Allowance
(Field Based / Fully Remote)
Are you a High Voltage Installation Technician with experience in transformers, switchgear and HV cable terminations, looking to join a growing company where you’ll work on major UK infrastructure projects?

This company is a specialist in high-voltage infrastructure solutions, delivering installation and commissioning projects nationwide. With ambitious growth plans, they are now looking for a HV Installation Technician to strengthen their delivery team.
In this role you will install and commission HV transformers, AIS/GIS switchgear, substation components, and auxiliary systems. You will carry out HV terminations and connections, support FAT/SAT and energisation, and work alongside engineers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
This role would suit a HV Installation Technician with at least 5 years’ experience working from 11kV up to 400kV, who is looking for long-term development, training, and the chance to work on some of the UK’s most exciting HV projects.
The Role:
*Install and commission HV transformers, switchgear (AIS/GIS) and substation equipment
*Carry out HV cable terminations, busbar connections and auxiliary wiring
*Support FAT, SAT and site energisation
*Ensure compliance with safety procedures, standards and client requirements
*Travel to sites across the UK (company HQ in Norwich)
The Person:
*Experience in HV installation (11kV-400kV)
*Ability to travel nationwide with expensed accommodation included
