Your New Office
Hays Stoke is an established team of twelve consultants based in a central Hanley office. The team ranges from Recruitment Consultant level through to Senior Business Director, giving you excellent exposure, support, and progression opportunities as you begin your recruitment career.


The Opportunity
You will be joining our Construction & Property - Social Housing team, working a high-performing temporary recruitment desk covering Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire. This is a well-established, warm desk with strong existing relationships and consistent demand across roles such as:
*Support Workers
*Housing Management Officers
*Income Officers
*Housing Patch Managers
This market offers excellent earning potential, with a strong flow of repeat business and a commission structure that rewards high performance from day one!


What can you expect day to day?
As a Recruitment Consultant within this team, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of activities while being supported by structured training and development from day one. Your responsibilities will include:
*Sourcing, interviewing, and matching high-quality candidates to roles
*Building relationships with new and existing clients through outreach and business development
*Managing the full recruitment process from taking a brief to negotiating offers
*Developing specialist market knowledge by staying curious and engaged with your sector
*Taking accountability for meeting targets and achieving your financial goals
*Contributing to a vibrant, inclusive culture that celebrates personal and team success
