Our client, a reputable family-run recycling and transport company based in Milton Keynes, is actively looking to recruit a dedicated HGV Technician to join their workshop team. Benefits:
*Up to £22 per hour, depending on experience
*Monday to Friday working hours, 7:00am – 5:00pm
*Occasional Saturday mornings, paid at 1.5x

Duties:
*Conducting six-weekly inspections as part of vehicle maintenance schedules
*Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and compliance
*Performing general servicing and repairs on a varied fleet
*Diagnosing mechanical and technical issues efficiently
*Ensuring all vehicles adhere to high safety and quality standards
*Managing workload independently, including parts procurement
*Maintaining accurate documentation of vehicle repairs and service history
Requirements:
*Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
*At least 5 years’ proven workshop experience working on HGVs or similar commercial vehicles
*Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
*A valid Class 1 or Class 2 licence is advantageous; training can be provided
*Experience working on construction or specialist vehicles is beneficial but not essential
*Proactive attitude with the ability to manage own workload efficiently
