We are recruiting a Senior Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable main dealer in Corby.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join a well-established workshop that values technical expertise, quality workmanship, and employee development. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards and supporting the team with complex diagnostics and repairs.

Duties:
*Conduct engine removals, rebuilds, and diagnostics
*Strip and rebuild gearboxes to manufacturer standards
*Perform advanced electrical diagnostics and fault finding
*Handle technical support requests and troubleshooting
*Mentor and support junior technicians within the workshop
*Ensure work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards
*Maintain accurate records and documentation for all work carried out
Requirements:
*Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is essential for this Senior Vehicle Technician role
*Proven experience in engine and gearbox rebuilds
*Strong all-round mechanical skills
*Confident electrical diagnostics and problem-solving abilities
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with management
*MOT licence preferred, with training provided if necessary
*Knowledge of hybrid systems advantageous but not essential
