Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Service Advisor at Leading Main Dealer in Reading

Our client, a well-established main dealership in the Reading area, is seeking an experienced and professional Service Advisor to join their reputable team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to progress their automotive career within a supportive working environment. The Service Advisor role is vital to delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving service sales.

Benefits:
*£32,000 basic salary plus bonus, with an OTE of approximately £45,000
*Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
*One in three Saturday mornings, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm

Duties:
*Greet customers face-to-face and over the phone, providing professional and friendly service
*Manage workshop work-in-progress (WIP) and scheduling for MOTs and services
*Keep customers informed about their vehicle’s progress and any delays that may arise
*Upsell parts and service packages in line with customer needs
*Ensure efficient coordination between the workshop and the service department
*Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service as a Service Advisor
Requirements:
*Previous experience within an automotive service role (commercial experience advantageous)
*Full UK driving licence
*Strong customer service skills with a professional approach
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Good mechanical understanding and sales ability
*Motivated attitude with a desire to develop automotive knowledge and skills
*Effective communication skills and attention to detail
