About the Role

Location: Worthing (covering East & West Sussex)
Hours: 24 hours per week
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Induction and Training Manager to join our Mental Health Support Services team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring every new staff member receives a warm, informative, and engaging introduction to our organisation, values, and the work we do.




Job Opportunity

You will deliver face to face induction sessions for new colleagues joining our community based and supported living services across East and West Sussex, ensuring they feel confident, supported, and prepared from day one.
Alongside this, you will act as our Wellbeing Lead, championing staff wellbeing and helping to build a positive, supportive work culture. This will include leading a team of Wellbeing Ambassadors embedded in our service teams. You will also oversee the management and completion of all mandatory training—both online and in-person—ensuring compliance and high-quality learning experiences for all staff.


Key Responsibilities
• Deliver structured, engaging, and informative face to face induction training for new starters.
• Ensure induction content is up to date, relevant, and aligned with organisational values and mental health best practice.
• Act as the organisation’s Wellbeing Lead, promoting staff wellbeing initiatives and providing first-line support on wellbeing matters.
• Oversee and track the completion of all mandatory training across the service, including e learning modules and in person sessions.
• Collaborate with service managers to identify training needs and ensure new staff have the support they need to excel in their roles.
• Maintain accurate training records and contribute to continuous improvement of training processes.

Essential Skills

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
• A confident and engaging communicator with experience delivering training.
• Passionate about mental health support and committed to promoting positive staff wellbeing.
• Organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently and travelling across East and West Sussex when needed.
• Experienced in adult learning, training coordination, or induction programmes (desirable).
• Understanding of mental health support services or social care environments (desirable).
