CNC Recruitment is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our client based in the Mid Devon district
Location: Tiverton
Role Type: Field-based
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week
Salary: £32,000–£36,000 per annum (paid overtime available)


Key Responsibilities
*Assist with and carry out commercial biomass boiler installations and project work nationwide
*Provide technical support to Treco operations staff
*Complete detailed snagging lists and commissioning reports
*Assist with compiling parts lists where required
*Diagnose faults and attend breakdowns
*Build and supervise boiler installations
*Produce detailed breakdown reports with recommended actions and required parts
*Ensure all installation work is carried out in accordance with issued design drawings, documenting any deviations
*Undertake pre-commissioning checks as required
*Provide technical support to customers via telephone and on-site visits
*Carry out meter changes in line with RHI/Ofgem requirements, including supporting documentation and images
*Service and maintain boilers as required
*Accurately assess labour and parts required for servicing and repairs
*Conduct risk assessments for all site visits
*Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
*Supervise junior staff where applicable
*Maintain a professional and positive representation of the Treco Group
*Complete timesheets, expense forms, and mandatory training
*Follow company processes and procedures
*Maintain company vehicles and tools in good working order
*Work away from home during the week when required


Essential Skills & Experience


*Previous experience in a similar role
*Mechanical or electrical engineering background
*Proficient in Microsoft Office
*Good written and spoken English
*Full UK driving licence


Desirable Skills & Qualifications


*Welding experience
*IPAF and/or PASMA licence
*Biomass boiler experience
