A fantastic opportunity has arisen in Birmingham City Centre for an experienced Corporate / Commercial Paralegal to join a growing legal team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a career paralegal with at least 2 years’ experience in corporate or commercial law who is looking to develop their expertise within a supportive and professional law firm.
The role
The successful corporate/commercial paralegal will work closely with a highly experienced Senior Associate, supporting a range of commercial legal matters while also assisting on corporate transactions when required.
Candidates with corporate law experience who are keen to gain more exposure to commercial work are encouraged to apply, as full training and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
*Assisting with a wide range of commercial law matters, including drafting and reviewing commercial agreements
*Supporting corporate transactions such as acquisitions, disposals. management buy outs, shareholder agreements etc
*Conducting legal research and preparing legal documents
*Liaising with clients, colleagues and third parties to support ongoing matters
*Supporting the Senior Associate and wider Corporate/Commercial team with administrative and legal tasks
Requirements
*Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Paralegal in corporate law or commercial law
*Strong understanding of corporate transactions or commercial contracts
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
*High attention to detail and strong legal research skills
*A proactive and professional approach to client service
