Job Description:
Purchase Ledger Clerk | £26,000 - £28,000 | Chorley + Hybrid | Full time or Part time | Fantastic culture and benefits
Axon Moore are exclusively partnering a high-growth business in Chorley as they look to bolster their finance team with the addition of an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk capable of hitting the ground running in a fast-paced, end-to-end Accounts Payable position.
This is a permanent position and is well suited to candidates seeking both full-time and part-time hours. Either five full days, five short days/school hours, or three full days.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
*Processing purchase invoices and dealing with queries
*Mentoring and supporting junior team members
*First point of contact for all complex queries
*Completing BACS and manual payments
*Supplier statement reconciliations
*Assisting with audits
*Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system
*Implementing/streamlining new and existing processes
*Ad hoc duties as and when required
Required Skills and Experience:
*Good IT and MS Excel skills
*Able to build and maintain long-lasting working relationships
*Willingness to learn and succeed
*Good attention to detail and analytical skills
*Able to communicate clearly and effectively
*Able to work collaboratively and independently
