Description
*Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
*Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely reporting.
*Assist in maintaining compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
*Provide financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
*Reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly.
*Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls.
*Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and industry regulations.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
*A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
*Previous experience in financial reporting and compliance within a relevant industry.
*Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
*Proficiency in financial software and tools.
*An understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations.
*Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
*Able to commute to our client’s office in Derby.
