Warehouse Operative – 8-Week Temporary Contract

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm (30-minute lunch break)

Overview
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to join a friendly and well-organised team in Kidlington. This is an 8-week temporary role with full training provided. The position involves goods receiving, inventory control, order picking, and maintaining a safe and tidy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Goods receiving: Checking deliveries and recording all incoming goods accurately using an MRP system (full training provided).
*Inventory management: Storing components in the correct allocated locations and maintaining stock accuracy.
*Goods out: Picking items to kit lists or fulfilling individual requests and recording dispatches through the MRP system.
*Stock control: Supporting routine stock-takes to maintain inventory accuracy.
*Warehouse upkeep: Ensuring the warehouse area is kept clean, organised, and compliant with Health & Safety standards.
*Additional duties: Supporting the operations team with general warehouse tasks when required.
Skills & Experience
*Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
*Confidence using IT systems (training on MRP will be provided).
*Good attention to detail and accuracy.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*A forklift truck licence would be advantageous but not required.
