Newstaff Employment Services is seeking a dedicated Counterbalance Driver for our operations in Hemel Hempstead.You will be working Monday - Friday, starting at 7am, As a Counterbalance Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating counterbalance forklifts to move and stack products within our warehouse environment. Responsibilities *Safely operate counterbalance forklifts to transport materials and products throughout the facility.
*Perform routine safety checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
*Pick and prepare orders accurately for shipments, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
*Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
*Assist with inventory control through regular tracking and updating of stock levels.
*Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse.
Requirements
*Current Counterbalance Forklift License (in-house licenses may not be accepted).
*Prior experience in operating counterbalance forklifts in a similar warehouse or distribution role.
*Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to forklift operations.
*Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-based environment.
*Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
*Competent communication skills, both verbal and written.
*Willingness to adapt and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
