Reed Early Years now runs as its own specialist vertical market - and we’re looking for a driven, passionate Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Leeds and build upon the outstanding work we have already done to establish Reed as a leader in the space.
Based in our Leeds Primary Education team, you’ll focus exclusively on the Early Years sector, working with Private Nurseries, Nursery Schools, and Early Years settings across the region. This is your chance to make a real mark, become a market specialist, and help shape a new and fast-growing area of our business.
What the role looks like:
As our Early Years Recruitment Consultant, you will:
*Build and grow a warm desk focused on Temporary placements within Nurseries and Early Years settings
*Develop strong relationships with Nursery Managers, EYFS leaders, and decision-makers
*Source, interview, and place high-quality Early Years practitioners
*Deliver exceptional service to both clients and candidates
*Drive business growth through sales activity, networking, and local market insight
*Become a key part of Reed’s Early Years expansion, influencing how this new market develops
Who we’re looking for:
You’ll thrive in this role if you are either:
1 An experienced Recruiter
Ideally with experience in temp recruitment, education, or a fast-paced sector.
OR
2 An Early Years professional with sales in your DNA
Perhaps you’ve worked as an EYFS practitioner, Nursery Manager, Room Leader, or within childcare training - and you’re now ready for a move into recruitment. If you have sales, customer service, or business development experience, we’d love to hear from you.
