An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a busy finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract based in Redditch. The role will involve supporting the preparation of management accounts, assisting with month-end activities and helping deliver accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
*Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
*Support with balance sheet reconciliations
*Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
*Analyse financial data and provide variance analysis
*Support the month-end and year-end close processes
*Assist with accruals, prepayments and journal postings
*Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
*Provide financial reporting and analysis to support operational teams
*Support continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within management accounts
*Studying towards or interested in studying ACCA / CIMA / AAT (desirable but not essential)
*Strong Excel skills and good analytical ability
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly
