We are currently supporting a leading Investment Manager who is looking to engage an AI Engineer with strong Python and machine learning engineering experience on an initial 2–3 month contract .
This role will focus on designing and implementing AI-driven agent workflows to support internal reporting and analytical use cases within an asset management environment. The successful candidate will have strong experience building multi-agent systems, deploying models in Azure environments, and monitoring AI workflows in production .
Key Responsibilities *Design and develop AI agent workflows and automation solutions using Python
*Build and maintain multi-agent architectures for complex analytical and reporting tasks
*Develop solutions using Azure-based AI and data services
*Implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks for agent workflows
*Integrate human-in-the-loop processes within agent-based systems
*Collaborate with internal teams to support AI-driven reporting and data insights
Required Skills & Experience *Advanced Python programming and strong software engineering fundamentals
*Experience in machine learning engineering and AI system development
*Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies , including:
*Azure Machine Learning
*Azure SQL
*Azure CosmosDB
*Experience working with GitLab for version control and CI/CD
*Expertise building multi-agent workflows , ideally using frameworks such as LangGraph
*Experience evaluating and monitoring ML/agent workflows using tools such as MLflow
*Practical experience developing agent-based systems with human-in-the-loop workflows
Desirable Experience *Experience working on reporting or data automation use cases
*Prior exposure to asset management or financial services environments
