We are seeking a professional, reliable, and proactive Residential Porter to manage the day-to-day running of a residential building and provide excellent service to residents.
Key Responsibilities:*Oversee the smooth daily operation of the building
*Ensure the safety, security, cleanliness, and presentation of all communal areas
*Monitor CCTV and control access for residents, visitors, deliveries, and contractors
*Carry out regular building inspections and report maintenance issues, defects, and safety concerns
*Coordinate and supervise contractors on site
*Manage refuse and recycling areas and liaise with the local council where needed
*Carry out weekly fire alarm tests and support emergency procedures
*Maintain records/logs for inspections, complaints, incidents, and keys
*Assist residents and act as a professional first point of contact
*Respond to out-of-hours emergencies where required
Requirements:*Previous experience as a Porter, Caretaker, or in residential building management preferred
*Strong communication and customer service skills
*Reliable, hands-on, and highly organised
*Professional, discreet, and able to work independently
*Basic understanding of health & safety and building maintenance
